Best viewed LARGE on Black: bighugelabs.com/flickr/onblack.php?id=3603319446&size Those of you who have been following my photostream for the last year or so know that I have been slowly developing our garden over the last twelve years. Last weekend we hosted the first garden party in it. We were celebrating the addition of one of those "dreaded zeros" (as contact Penwren called them) to someone near and dear to me. The whole event was expertly planned and organized by our daughter in law, who surprised me by deciding to use our South Terrace. It proved to be an inspired decision. The thing that amazed me is how the space magically "grew" when she added tables, chairs and people to the scene. Looking at this area from above for the last several years, I never imagined that it would accommodate an event like this so comfortably. The pictures in the first comment below show why I thought the space was so much smaller than it really is.
