(WSET) -- Only a fraction of the 16 million Americans who served in World War Two are still alive and Thursday, June 6, 2019, many will participate in events honoring the 75th anniversary of D-Day. 160,000 Allied troops, including 73,000 Americans, landed on the French beaches of Normandy to launch a takeback of Western Europe from Hitler's Nazi Germany.
