This variety produces an abundance of fruits weighing 60 to 90 g, which are tinged with indigo thanks to the presence of anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants. Their flavor is highly appreciated. This variety reaches about 2 m in height and has been bred by Lee Goodwin in New Mexico. It comes from a cross between the “Blue” tomato from the University of Oregon and the “Amy’s Sugar Gem” variety. Some say it has a slight vanilla flavor.
