Use self covering metal buttons to make matching buttons to your outfit. Cover in and fabric that you choose. Works best with a button press tool.
These metal self covering buttons are ideal for making matching buttons to your outfit.
HOW TO USE:
1. Simply cut a circle of fabric big enough to cover the outer button (e.g. a 43mm diametre circle should be enough for an 11mm button)
2. With a hand sewing needle, sew a small slip stitch around the edge of the circle, about 3-4mm in from the edge.
3. Pull the thread to gather the fabric around the shank, placing the outer button in the middle and pull tightly. Cast off.
4. Push the button back over the shank to fully enclose the raw edge of the fabric.
These buttons come in a variety of sizes and pack quantities.
