Matching serial number on the butt socket, bolt assembly, magazine, scope mount, and fore-end. The receiver is stamped with Crown over England. The butt socket is stamped M 47 C, 1945 and TR. S51 properly marked on the underside of the stock. The grip is marked with the BSA-Shirley insignia and SL N 74 and D. The fore-grip has five hand etched X marks, Crown over H1 stamp, and JC.22. The muzzle is stamped .303 Brit 2.22 18.5 Tons. The scope is stamped TEL STG No. 32 Mk. 3 OS 2039 A. .AK& S. No. 23346. 1945. British Broad Arrow. The wrist of the stock is stamped 23346, this matches the scope number of 23346. The scope mount is marked V32808. The scope case is marked Case STG TEL. No.8 MK2. OS 2578A . L&J.W. LTD.
