Our 2Finger Gloves | 2Finger Guards are suitable for both adults and children trying to stop finger sucking or a skin picking habit. Can also be a help when finding it hard with compulsive hair pulling. At Fingers & Thumbs® we know how hard this can all be. There are no guarantees and it takes a lot of patience and determination!
Our gloves have been specially designed for extra comfort and so do not have a closing mechanism i.e. scratchy velcro or buttons and the design allows for all the activities we do during the day. They are touch screen compatible.
Unlike many other gloves the fingers are separated and so minimises the discomfort of sweating between the fingers that a pouch style glove can give.
The glove can be put on and taken off easily. We recommend the use of encouragement and motivational incentives to keep using it.
We do NOT recommend our gloves to children under 4 years old.
We recommend buying two or more gloves especially if you are just starting to kick the habit. This is to ensure there is always one available during the day time routines and activities. For best results the glove should be used during the daily idle times and can be particularly helpful for the prolonged finger sucking habit during nighttime sleeping.
