Rake your buffing wheels.
How?
Spin the buffing wheel at its standard speed while the rake is securely held to a stationary bench grinder, hand held grinder, or lathe. Please exercise caution when performing this.
Why?
Raking your polishing wheel will remove hardened and burned on compound from the edges of your buffing wheel.
