Made with Full Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather (The colors Elephant Gray and Rugged Brown are full grain leathers but use a different process than vegetable tanning to create the pull-up effect).
All hardware is solid brass/copper with never any composite hardware used.
Hand stitched vs. Machine Sewn:
Both options will look great and be plenty strong. Hand stitching uses a method called saddle stitching that can only be done by hand. It is a stronger and prettier stitch than what can be achieved on machines. It’s a great upgrade and we have many beautiful color options to choose from in all natural linen threads.
Threads:
-All natural Linen Threads are used with hand stitched items.
-Japanese Vinymo Polyester Threads are used with machine sewn items.
-Product Dimensions: 6.5" x 8.5" (165mm x 216mm)
-Pen Loop integrated on spine uses the tension created there to hold a pen or pencil in place. No pen clips required.
-Multifunctional strap on left inner flap can be used to hold more pens, paper clips, rulers, or help keep larger items more secure.
-Left flap reinforced with rivets and great for keeping loose notes, smaller notebooks, passports, and more.
-Large Bottom pocket can hold small notebook or a cellphone.
-Card slots for business cards or credit cards.
-Choice of three different closure methods - None, Snap Strap, or Strap that goes through a loop.
All edges are beveled, sanded, and burnished to a nice smooth shine.
