The grapes for this came from a cooler lakeside site near our winemaker's home in Kaleden. This light and delicate wine has bright notes of cassis and cherry shining through. Complex earthy undertones are supported by a long 16 month rest in mostly neutral French Oak.
Pinot Noir 2021 NEW!
After 4 years of wanting to make a Pinot, and passing on vintages where the grapes weren't good enough, or we actually couldn't get our hands on any - we made one to be proud of. The grapes for this delicate pinot came from a cooler lakeside site near our winemaker's home in Kaleden.⠀
⠀
Light bodied. Soft tannins. Wild fermented. You'll find bright notes of cassis and cherry shining through, and complex earthy undertones supported by a long 16 month rest in neutral French Oak. We couldn't be happier with this one. On the right day it would be great to serve slightly chilled 👌⠀
