The rather unique Quick Release Buckle or QR Buckle or Fireman’s Buckle has a story that this design dates back to early England and firemen that used this buckle and release design for their fire hoses – thus the Quick Release when needed to free their fire hoses rapidly. No matter the story, I just think that these are really fun buckles and have been offering belts with these buckles since day 1 of having my website in 2013. The Quick Release buckles are made in England, from a foundry that dates to the mid 1800’s and they hold a Royal Warrant from the Queen. If the Queen of England approves, you should too.
