Side Pocket (サイドポケット) is a billiards simulator game developed by Data East and released in 1986 for arcades. It was ported to the NES in 1987 and to the Nintendo Game Boy in 1990. It also received enhanced ports to the Sega Mega Drive in 1992, the SNES in 1993 and the Game Gear in 1994. When playing in single-player mode the game follows the Straight Pool ruleset. The player can move and aim the pool cue with the directional, with a dot trail coming from the cue showing the expected trajectory.
